Now, since Calvary and it’s explanation given to the apostle Paul, we have the full revelation of God’s redemption plan (Rom. 3:21-23). The Way God chose to bring about mankind’s redemption, is by us actively placing our Faith in The Sacrifice Jesus made on the cross to bring about a right standing and relationship with Him (Rom. 3:24-25). Jesus would be our Redeemer.

And the Devil’s method of getting people to forfeit redemption, is by using deception. God gives humanity truth in order to lead us to Believe and be redeemed. Anyone can experience redemption and salvation if they do one thing, BELIEVE in God’s Way of redemption and in no other. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life. He who BELIEVES ON HIM is not condemned: but he who Believes not is condemned already, because he has not Believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16,18). Your redemption is not brought about by what you do, but instead by what you BELIEVE (Rom. 3:28). The Devil works to deceive humanity so we will not Believe the truth, and in turn we then stay bound by sin, suffer the consequences here on earth, and in the eternity to come. The Devil is active to help discredit God’s redemption plan within the minds of unbelievers if they hear The Truth, and within the minds of Believers after they have accepted The Truth (Luke 8:11-15). The Devil knows if The Truth is rejected, then redemption is forfeited. The Devil knows God accepts no one according to their own goodness or worthiness, but only according to the goodness and worthiness of the sacrifice they are trusting and Believing in. That is why all of our trust and Faith must be in the only sacrifice for sin that God will recognize, His Sons’! Sin’s penalty and power remain dominant in anyone’s life as a result of not Believing this truth. It is Believing that can redeem us and it is unbelief that keeps us bound by the Devil and our own sinful nature. Sin was not the cause of unbelief, unbelief was the cause of sin! And because sin now appeals to the sin nature within us, and feels good to the flesh, most will reject the only way out from this deception and remain spiritually dead towards God (John 3:19-20). Mankind naturally rejects The Truth and the life of God to remain a slave to the sin nature (Rom. 1:21, 6:20-21). Unbelievers are the Devil’s “offspring”, in the sense that they are under the same deception he is under. And because of this unbelief, they are under the same condemnation that he is. They do not Believe God’s Way is better than their way. That is where man’s religions come to the surface. Because they refuse to accept and believe in God’s Way of redemption, they devise their own way of salvation and redemption (John 8:42-45). And many religions do this while claiming to Believe the story of the Bible. Please do not be deceived like the Pharisees and religious leaders in Jesus’ day. They constantly were busy doing religious things, but never came to a knowledge of the story behind the scriptures they claimed they Believed. Don’t do that!

Know that the source of our redemption is Jesus Christ. Be mindful that The Cross is where ALL of our redemption was won. Remind yourself daily that you can’t earn favor with your Heavenly Father. No matter who you are or what you have done, God is pleased when your Faith is in the Sacrifice His Son made for you. The Holy Spirit will enable the benefits of your redemption to be manifested in your heart and life if you meet the one universal requirement. Keep your Faith in His plan of redemption, no matter the cost.

I leave you with some words from Paul to Believers.

“For I would that you knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; that their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BEGUILE YOU WITH ENTICING WORDS. For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the STEADFASTNESS OF YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST. AS YOU HAVE THEREFORE RECEIVED CHRIST JESUS AS LORD, SO WALK YE IN HIM: rooted and built up IN HIM, and ESTABLISHED in the FAITH, as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM, which is the head over all principality and power: in whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with Him THROUGH THE FAITH OF THE OPERATION OF GOD, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all your trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it away, nailing it to HIS CROSS; and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. ”

(Colossians 2:1-15)

“So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the Gospel to you (saints) who are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation (both initial and continued redemption)to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from Faith to Faith: as it is written, The just shall LIVE by Faith.”

(Rom. 1:16-17)

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Now to Him who is of Power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the Revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures and the Prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for Obedience to the Faith: to God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.”

(Romans 16:24-27)

Keep the Faith.
